Immunity

Immunity is the natural way by which our body protects us from natural ailments or diseases. Our body has immune system by the help of which our body can fight against antigens which was previously recognized by the defense mechanism. This is mainly done by the antibodies. There are certain primary detector cells which recognizes the antigens just when they enter into our body and produces antibodies to protect our body against them. The bodies immune system thus acts like a key in the maintenance of good physical health.
A nutritious balanced diet ,healthy life style,clean and clear healthy environment,genetics all of these factors directly helps in building up the immune system.
The immune system which is like an army protecting and guarding our body is based on the lymphatic system and the white blood cells of the body[blood stream]. There are many other organs which also contribute like spleen,skin,respiratory,digestive etc. The lymphatic system comprises of the various regions where in lymph nodes are located i.e, network of lymph nodes and vessels which helps in returning fluids from inter cellular spaces to the actual blood stream which then circulates all over the body. The lymph node,thymus gland and spleen are the constituents of lymphatic system. This lymphatic system produces lymphocytes it further engulfs or kills the foreign particles,cancerous cells or microbes. Thus their presence in the blood stream is as special indication.
There are 2 types of lymphocytes-
1.T- lymphocytes [produces by thymus glands]
2.B- lymphocytes [ produces by the spleen ]

The white blood cells found in the blood stream like phagocytes and and lymphocytes destroys the invading bacterias and removes the dead or unwanted cells and tissues which cause damage.

Quick and easy remidies for mouth ulcers

My todays topic is all bout mouth ulcers.This is one amoungst the most comman problem which everyone experience .There are certain things to know a bout the causes and how to prevent them what are the remidies.

Mouth or the so called oral cavity is said to be the mirror of the digestive system mainly the stomach and the interstine.
The mouth ulcers are called as stomatitis.Its a reddish small ulcer which occurs in the inner area of the mouth.They are of different varities like tromatic ulcer,Chronic ulcers,Acute,Malignant,Benign.....


Causes:-
----------
1.Troma - This means any sort of injury .this is most commanest cause .Mainly while brushing or eating and sharp and hard objects ,or mainly while consuming any meat with intact bones , somethimes it might occur by your own teeth itself..

2.Constipation - This is the main cause.Mostly the person suffering from constipation problem will have oral ulcers too.So the root cause here is to get rid of constipation which it self will act as a cure.

3.Indigestion- This is also the most comman reason .Any problem with digestion shows of in form of stomatitis.

4.Many ulcers mainly related too intestines or stomach in such a condition this can also be seen.But here that will remain for a long time.

5.In innumo compramise condition like AIDS and others.

6.Vitamin difficiancy like difficiancy of vitamin B- complex or vitamin-C.

7.Calcium difficiancy.

8.Indulgence in excessive of spicy food.

9.Reduced intake of water.

Remidies:-
---------
1.Water is a very good remidy for this problem.As it is a liquid when taken i good amount removes or washe s away the toxins,Relieves one from constipation problem.Not only this there are certain vitamins which are water soluble.Body requires adequate amount of water.Hence its really good way to prevent the onset of mouth ulcers.

2.Keep your body cool if you are of pitta prakrithi of tend to increase up the heat in your body eary.

3.


Take substances which cool your body like tender coconut water.

4.


Prepare a drink/kashaya by adding coarsely powdered coriander seeds and cumin about 1 tsp each to milk and add 1 tsp of powdered cane sugar or jaggery and boil and reduced to half .Consume this twice a day.This will help you in constipation and gastritis problem too.

5.If this problem of ulcer is due to constipation make a habbit of drinking large amount of water in a day and consume more of fibrous vegetable and fruits in your diet like leafy vegetables,oranges ,sweetlimes etc.

6.Application of honey with the help of tip of your finger to the spot where there is a ulcer daily about 3-4 times helps to get immediate relief from the pain and also cures the ulcers early.This will lead to a bit for burning sensation but then subsides after 1 mins of application.

Ghee application is also beneficial like honey.

Consume more of milk mainly in the night before bedtime.

9.Take B-Complex tablets for atleast 3 days,twice daily with milk

10.Chewing tender leaaves of mango or guava and then swallow the liquid and keep the leaf at the site for about ten minutes.this also will show wonderful results.

11.Tender leaves of Jaaji mallige is the best remidy amounst all.It gives quick results.It makes the area numb.Used the way as tender leaves of guava and mango.This helps in bad breath problem also,cleanses the touch and improves taste perceptions.Increases appitite.

12.Oil pulling is an ancients method used to prevent anu oral diseases like related to gums teeth and even for ulcers.Helps to restore the helath of oral cavity.

13.



Simply chewing about haqlf trp of cumin and then drink a cup of water this also shows wonderful results.this also helps when you feel blotting sensation in your stomach.

Ayurvedic remidies:-

1.Gandusha dharana with thriphala kwatha, i.e- gargling or holding the water or thriphala kwatha in the mouth of 10 mins twice daily.

2.Application of triphala churna mixed with honey over the small ulcers also gives good results.

3.Intake of a tablet by name-'' Khadiradhi Vati'' is really a good remidy.I always make it a point to have a strip of this tablet in my purse.This also helps in dry cough and bad breath.

4.Oil pulling with neem oil.

Calcium rich food

Todays topic is about calcium, its role,food contents which are rich in calcium and ways to prevent reduced calcium count and protect the health of bones.As this was requested by one of the regular visitor here i am with this topic.



Introduction:-

To begin with calcium is the essential component of the body.Its a mineral which helps in building the skeletal frame of the body.Bones and the teeth in our body mainly contains calcim with phoshorus that is in the form of calcium phosphate.
Calcium is one such mineral which is produced in our body to a little extent .It is absorbed from the blood and store in bones to a little extent.

Generally the growth of the body takes place from 0-25 yrs of age.It various in each indivisual.Noramally at an average -
Femals its from 0-19 yrs
Males its 0-22 yrs at an average.
This is mainly carried out by the growth harmaone which is released from pitutory glands located in the brain.But the body continues to built up the bone mass and the density up till 30 yrs of ageHEnece one must indulge in food habbits which is rich in calcium,magnesiun,potassium and vitamin-D and K2 throughout childhood and adolescence for a healthy and strong bone.

Reasons for reduce calcium levels-

1.Poor absorbtion of calcium by the system
2.Reduced intake of calcium
3.Some thyroid gland malfunctioning[As its responsible for the maintanace of calcium level in the body.
4.During the menopausal period.

Simple methods to gain weight

My todays topic is a request by a friend.Feel free to ask for the topics of your choice and i'll be happy to post them.Well many of the indivisuals are facing the problem of underweight.due to many reasons one may not gain weight and by eating or following same procedures the other may easily gain weight.There are various reason for this.

Causes:
---------
1.Inheritance:
------------
It may be due to the genes.Parents or one of the parent has the nature of not gaining weight even though the person involves in any type of food habbits or regimen.So this will be inherited by the offspring also.

2.Absorption:
------------
There may be some problem because of which the persons intestine may not be able to absorb the essential materials or end products of digestion which inturn results in malnurishment thus leading to underweight.

3.Digestive problems:
-----------------
The indivisual may not be in the state of having enough food due to some causes like for eg- some get indigestion if they have even a little extra food,or may be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome,or colonitis or something like that.The person may not be involving with correct habbits or exercises to get the food digested well , assimilated and the good part of the end product of digestion to be absorbed to meet the body needs.

4.Knowledge:

The person may be unaware about the proper quantity or proportion of various component of food what he has to consume.
Like the vegetables which he has to take about half the portion of his meal,then fats and carbs together about 1/4 part odf his diet,protiens and vitamins to 1/4 th part of his meal.thus it goes on.We generally say this as stomach may be divided to 3 parts and - 1/3rd of it must be filled with solid food particals ,
- another 1/3 rd must be filled with liquid particals
- last 1/3 rd must be left vacant for the air to circulate and aid the digestion.


I have already mentioned about the shad rasa yukta ahara to be consumed and at what stages they have to be consumed in my earlier post.So please follow them if you have missed.

5.Low Hb% in the body:

If a person is aneamic also then wont gain weight.so boost up your Hb%

6.Unkown cause:
----------------
Here no matter what ever the person does,there is no problems of digestion absorption or malnourishment but the indivisual remains thin but active and helathy.This is ok.That can be called as his inborn constitution which i will be discussing in my future posts.

Methods:
---------
Now you might have already tried many home remidies or medicine for this problem of under weight or or over lean ...
But here are some easy and simple remidies.so goahead aand give a try.I will be prescribing some ayurvedic medicines but this is general.It varies from person to person depending upon thier age ,weight and duration,appitite.So one who wanna try ayurvedic medicines which are really promising as i have tried in many patients and have got wonderful results please contact me and i can advice you for proper dosage and pathya, etc.

1.Home remidies direct from your kitchen:-
-------------------------------------
-you must first record your weight before starting this and record weekly on a perticular day of a week for a month.

A]- Take 1tbsp of ghee and add 1tbsp of sugar to it mix and lick this mixture little by little in empty stomach just before lunch and dinner .and then after 30 mins you can have your meals.
- Continue this for atleast a month to see the benifits.


B]- Make a habbit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee mixed or stirred into itwith little sugar .Here sugar is for taste.

C]- Make a habbit of eating food in little quantity for very 2 hrs.Here i dont mean junks.May be fruits,vegetables,juices,dry fruits etcs.

D]-Always eat well balanced food,Which includes all the essential components including good fats also.

E]-Drink water after you meal atleast 1 cup full.this will help for better digestion and also to gain weight.

F]- Boost up your apittite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins.May be brisk walk,or just alittle bit of walking,dancing etc.

G]-Make a habbit of taking a light nap after a afternoon meal for about 30 mins to 1 hr.This will also help to gain weight.Try to get sound and good amount of sleep at nights too.

H]- Try to remain calm and happy.this contentment is really required because this is always related to mind .Body and mind are interlinked...So well balanced state of body with mind is called as a healthy condition or the man is called helathy.

I]-Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night .this should be taken empty stomach.It will also increase the Hb% .thus acts as two in one.


2] Now comming down to Ayurvedic medicines:-
-----------------------------------------
1.Khushmanda avaleha - 1 tsp twice daily with a cup of warm milk before bed and early in tghe morning empty stomach has a wonderful result.This should be done atleast for a month.this will also increase the heamoglobin percentage in the blood

2.Swamala compound a leha of doothpapeshwar company works wonders over the mal-nourished body.Even this should be taken spoon ful early morning or just before food with a cup of milk for best result.this should be take for atleast 1 month.

3.Ashwagandhavaleha-this one more type of avaleha which helps as a general tonic and given even better reults in men.May be taken with warm water or milk.

4.Chavan prash-This is also a very good leha.Method of intake is same as other.It has many dry fruits,amla[gooseberry and many medicinal roots].Best for emaciation caused as a result of some chronic diseases.

5.Draksharista- 3tsp of this should be taken with equal amount of boiled and cooled water with a drop of honey thrice a day for atleast 1 month.

6.Ashwaganda choorna may be taken with ghee or honey or even milk thrice daily .

Thus there are many more Aushadha /medicines in Ayurveda for this or any other problems.

Simple ways to helathy living

Hello every one.Well today i will be dealing with simple alteration in our daily regimens to be followed which will improve the health and the bestove longivity of life...


Water:-[Jala]
-------
-Well most of us will be having the habbit of drinking water.Thi water is a medicine in itself.It has several healing property.According to Ayurveda About a litre of sukhoshan jala which means boiled and cooled water should be consumed early mornings just after you get up from the bed.Clean your mouth and drink atleast 1/2 -1 litre of water at a strech .this will neutralise the increased gastric secretions,also helps in constipation and helps in easy evacuation of the stools.

- People suffering from gastritise and those with the problem of respiratory tract allergies etc should drink stomach full of water and then induce vomiting .This helps in neutralising acid base balance in the stomach mucosa in case of acidity and in case of allegic cough and cold removes the exessive mucosa secretion which might inturn lead to congestion in the chest or reduced appitite .

-Frequent consumption of water in small amount helps in restoring and regulating the water and salt balance in the body ,also heeps the skin hydrated.Skin which covers whole body is responsible for the toch sensation.Hence it maintains the skin moist .Thus acts as a natural moisturiser.

-By consuming adequate amount of watewr it helps in maintaing good appitite by regulating the adequate scretion of digestive juices.

-It also prevents wrinkling of skin.Hence prevents the aging process and even looks.

-Water helps in evacuating the toxins out of the body in form of urine.Hence one with frequent urinary tract infection and ,burning micturation problem ,Piles etc should drink more amount of liquid ,mainly water.


Astringent taste;-[Kashaya Rasa]
--------------
This astringent taste as in the tender leaves of mango,guava,bhrami etc is very much required for every one.Its most useful in diabetic patient.
-It cleanses the tough and prevents the bad breath problem,
-cleanses oral cavity,inproves taste perception by clearing the debries from the surface of tongue where in the tastebuds are located..
-Inproves digestion and appitite.
-Helpful in cleansing the blood and keeps it thin
-prevents skin infections and rashes.,pimples etc.
-This is useful in maintaining good quality of teeth and gums .Hence in ancient days people used the twigs of neem tree or mango terr to brush thier teethWhich is rich in kashaya rasa.
-It increases vata if taken in large amount.-When one is suffering from indigestion or feven.He is adviced to take light diet with kashaya rasa in it.This is the patya.
eg-tartiness in neemleaves ,tender mango or gauva leaves etc


Sweet taste:-[Madura Rasa]
-----------
-Consuming sweets in limited amount and at appropriate time is very benificial.
It is said in ayurveda that sweet is a taste which shoud be taken at the begining of a meal.this is very true because at that time the blood glucose level wil be very low,the gastic secretions will be high ,acicity is more.So by consuming sweet in a small quantity it reduces the excessive acidity of the stomach mucosa .If you start with spicy food then it may lead to corrosive action over the stomach mucosa[i.e inner layer or lining of stomach walls.]
-Also helps a lot in gastric problems,acidity etc.Sweet does not mean only sweet dishes it could be a tsp of sugar,or even starting a meal with only rice and ghee added...etc.
-Excessive intake of sweets reduces the appitite,delays digestion,increases fat ,leads to intestinal worms etc..
-Eg- as i sugar.jaggery,sweetness of mango atc.



Sour taste:-[Amla Rasa]
--------
- This is very benificial if taken in small amount and at appropriate time.
-This increases the secretion of saliva in the mouth which aids digestion.A small part of digestion of food starts right in the oral cavity.This is aided by saliva which helps in making bolus that is blends with the food particles during grinding process by the teeth.
A simple eg for this is just by looking at a raw mango or lemon or just tinking about it our mouth starts to water.
-Most of the citrus fruits are rich source of calcium and vitamin -C
-Helps in bone building
-Keeps teeth strong
-Increses digest juice secretion
-helps in fat digestion
-excessive intake of amla rasa that is sour taste vitiates the blood.
-Increases pitta in the body
-Increases burning sensatiions , increases gastic level,acidity etc.
-Should be taken in the niddle of the meals to aid the digestion of fatty food particles
-Hence should be taken in small amount only.
eg- as in raw mango, lemon,tamarind etc.




Bitter taste:-[Katu Rasa]
----------------------
-This is taste which cuts down and burns the unwanted fat
-Cleanses the toungue
-Helps to kill bad breath
-Increases the appitite
-Helpful in diabetis and even in skin diseses.Mainly when one has fever then he must go for kashaya rasa and katurasa included in thier diet for esay cure and aid digestion and improve the taste in the mouth.
-helpful in indigestion.
-This should not be taken in large quantity.It must be atken in minimal quantity.Daaily inatke of curry leaves and coriander leaves in form of seasoning to curries serves the purpose.Hence i say that Indian way of cooking is the best way which included all the shad rasa's[6 varities of taste]
-If taken in large amount it leads to dryness /rukshatha in the body, Increases Vata dosha in the body,And causes constipation also...
egs- bitter as in bittergaurd,neem leaves


Hot or spicy taste:-[Thiktha rasa]
----------------------------
This is a rasa which should be moderately taken.
-It also helps digestion of havey food
-Increases gastric secretion,and acidic level in the gastrium
-increases the taste perception
-Helps to reduce khapa
-Increases the savila secretion but not as sour taste
-Clears throat
-Should not be taken in greater amount as it harms tha walls of stomach by increasing the acidic levels.
-Harmful in acitidy problems as it further increases..
-VItiates pitta and increases it
-Causes burning sensation in gastrium/stomach and chest region
-Causes constipation
- Eg;-Spicy as in ginger ,pepper[these are good but when taken in right amount]



Salty taste:-[Lavana rasa]
----------------------
-This is another rasa which sould be taken in minimal quantity
-It aids digestion
-Helps in maintaining acid base balance when taken in right amount
-cleanses toungue and oral cavities.Strenthens the teeth and gums,prevents cavity formation when brushed using salts
-liquifies the khapa,but increases when taken in greater amount.


SO these are about the day to day life indulgence of food and thier tastes.There are many more to come...

Simple remedies for cold and cough

As this is the winter season and weather keeps fluctuating comman cold and fever are the more commanest ailments what most of us suffer from.So my todays topic of discussion is comman cold.

Most commonest causes for cold coughare:-
-------------------------------
-Change or fluctuation in weather conditions which in turn results or favours growth of various varities of virusus.
-Viral infections of throat
-exposure to too cold climate
-sudden exposure to cold then entering a well heated rooms or so
-Change or drinking water which is supposed to be most comman cause
-excessive consuption of frosen or chilled food articles
-exposure to dust and pollans
-working late nights
-exessive exposure with people who are already infected with cold
-here the problems are more because of poor ventilation and extreemes of climate
-staying in an room were there is poor air circulation ,or in a room with heaters or Air conditioner on for whole day
So thus the list goes on.


Remedies:-
---------
1.Daily intake of rejuvinating tonics which also enhances the immunity of the body and strengthens it from the core like chyavan prash leham,khushmanda Leham,Ashvagandha avaleham,swamala compound etc depanding on the body constituents can help to inbuilt the immunity within our body and prevent us from most of the diseases.

2.Practising breathing exercises like pranayama sudarshana kriya etc will make our respiratory system strong and prevent us from getting any respiratory illness.

3.There are certain yogas which also gives desired effect.

4.One who suffer from cold and cough very often there is a simple procedure for this.Early morning just immediatly after getting up from bed, gargle your mouth and give a quick rinse and the drink about 1.5-2 litres of water till you feel totally full,then kindle your throat with a finger ,just by tickling with your clean hands and vomit out the entire water till you feel the sourness in your mouth.This will help to expell out the sputum and other debries.This also helps in acidity problems also.

When you have cough and there is severe conjestion and feel difficult to breath ,take a hot vapour of water with ecalyptus oil ,or any vapouriser added to boiling water and take a steam for about 100 coulnt.This will dialate the bronchus and the blocks in the nose.Helps in nasal conjestions too.

Dhooma paan that is the smoke of turmeric has an antiseptic action in case of cold and cough.Burn a dried root of turmeric and inhale the smoke for about 5-6 times.This relieves the congestion.It can also be done in another way.Take a small mud vessel and place a cup of water below.Then add red hot charcoal to the clay or mud vessel and add little dried leaves to it.Then heap up a spoon full of turmeric cover it and give a gentle blow so that it catches fire then inhale it.This will act as a good antiseptic to your lungs and respiratory tract.

1.Apple:

Sinusitis

Sinusitis is the most comman problem what most of the people of thiois genetration suffer from.SO i thought of writting about this comman problem today.

Sinus defination:-
---------------
Sinuses are nothing but an empty space or a cavity in general.Sinus what we commanly use related to headaches are the cavities in the facial bones .

Sinuistis:
---------
Now what is sinusitis?
Itis = any infectious condition is reperesented as itis
Sinusitis is the condition where in these airpockects are infected and get inflammed causing pain in that perticular area.
Generally they will show positional head aches.Which means just when you change the position i.e even if you bend your head the headaches aggravates or flares up.

Description:
----------
Sinus can be simply described as small aircavities or pockets with a duct and a opening into nasal cavities.
Basically they are paired.There are four pairs of sinuses in the bones of teh face.

1) Frontal Sinus:
--------------
-Located just below the eyebrows and at teh starting of the nose.
-When the frontal sinus gets effected there will be head ache in both the sides of the fore head called temples of the head.

2)Maxillary Sinus:
---------------
-They are also 2 in number and located just below the cheek and on either sides of the nose.
-Here there will be pain and tenderness in the cheek area and one will feel the headache and that ache will be felt all over the face and upper jaw.

3)Ethamoidal Sinus:
------------------
-They are 2 in number
-Located behind the eyes.
-The headche causes by these sinus will mimic those caused due to vision problems[Refractive errors like long or short sightedness]
-Here you can also observe post-nasal drip that is,the mucus will pass through the back of your mouth that is it slides down the throat.

4)Sphenoidal sinus:
----------------
-They are also 2 in number.
-Located behind the ethamoidal sinus.Here one will feel the pain deep behind the eys.Heaviness of the eyes.

All the sinuses have a body just like a pouch then neck andduct with a outlet opening to the nasal cavities.They are line with a smooth surface of mucosa[inner most smooth layer] similar to that of the nasal cavity.They also have tiny hair called cilia.This helps in trapping dust and other foreign particals from entering airpassages.The dust and other particles are traped and then pushed with mucous to the nasal cavity and then thrown out.This is the normal diffence mechanism of the body.When they get infected and swollen the outflow of the entrapped particles remains within causing painful condition.


Symptoms:

-Head ache which are mainly positional
-Tenderness in the infected sinus are
-occasionally discolouration near the tender sinuses
-applying presuure and massages in those regeions[Increases the blood supply to that area]
-The headaches here subsides by sleeping,taking hot substances,applying hot pads over the tender sinuses
-Usually accompanied with comman cold or other respiratory infections,cough etc.
-Bad breath
-Nasal congestions

Causes:
-------
-Most of the time DNS[deviated nasal septum=Cruked nose bridge]
-Repeted respiratory tract infection
-Allergic rhinitis
-Allergic conditions.
All of tehse contribute to the occurance of sinusitis.

Tests by which its identified or diagnosed:
-----------------------------------
-Sinus transillumination tests
-Simple test like tapping over the sinus, there will be tenderness
-X-Rays
-CT scans.

Home remedies:
_______________
-Mainly ocurs when one exposes to breezy wind ,cold weather,Consumes chilled food items etc.
-Care must be taken to avoid cold and other respiratory infections.
-Eat or drink evrything which is hot .This will give a bit of releif and prevent from further damage
-Salt water gargling i.e with rock salt dissolevd in luke warm water and gargling must be done atleast 2-3 time per day.This will act as disinfectent,remove fowl smell and open up and cleanse the passage by causing counter irritation
-consuming herbs like rosemarry,thyme then ginger and horseraddish is beneficial.
-Keep yourself warm covered with warm clothes
-Dhooma pana with turmeric is the best ayurvedic treatment for this.Method to be done is as follows:-
Take a burning charcoal and add turmeric dries roots to it and blow wind this will make turmeric to emmit smoke when burnt.Inhake this fumes
Or else Simply burn the turmeric in gas and take the fumes.This can be supplimented with turmeric powder also.

-Instilling one drop of Anuthailam each to each nostril daily early morning or late evenings prevents the occurance of sinusitis.Also a good medicine for all types of head ache.But befor instillation.place this in hot water for about 30 sec then apply

-Take vapours using eucalyptus oil of about 3-4 drops in a vessel containing boiling hot water and covering yourself and vessel below so that the steam vapours donot escape.This relieves teh nasal congestion and any block, clears teh passage and helps in out flow of trapped particles in sinus.

-Intake of chitrakarista 3tsp 3 times a day with a drop of honey stired each time,Septiline ds[himalaya company]-2 tablets a day

-Avoid fried foods,fat and heavy foods,curds during the process.

-Drink hot water sip by sip very often

Some hints to control kidney stones or stones related to urinary tract.

This is one of the comman complaint what most of the people face in present days.There are many causes for this problem of stones.There are various varities of stones.They may be uric acid crystals,calcium oxalate crystals,Cystine stones and many more varities of stones.The problem of urinary calculi is more comman in males than in females.The ratio is 3:1.

Sizes:-

The urinary stones are of different sizes and shapes.They may be samll as sand or large as a marble.They may have smooth surface or a cutting edge and rough.The small stones of the size of about-4-5 cmm pass of easily and requires no medication.They may even remain unidentified of a long time.But those larger and with irregular surface often causses pain when they dislocate from its position ,and when thrown out of the body.

Causes and measures for thier prevention:

-First and most comman cause is reduced intake of water.Most of us do not take enough amount of water.An healthy indivisual should consume atleast 2-3 litres of water in a day.So this should be the first step to be taken to avoid the reccurance and even as a prevention for urinary stones.One who are already facing the problem i advice them to increase the volume of water intake to atleast 2-3 times from before.

-IF one with holds the urge of urination and retains it in the bladder for long time in due course it will result in the formation of Calculi[stone].This may be due to work or circumstances.This is a bad habbit and causes various other problems like pain in the lower abdomen,infections of urinary tract,headache etc.Hence never try to with hold the urge of micturation for too long.

Next consuming execcive salt and mineral rich diet.Lemme tell you excess of anything is always harmful.So reduce intake of such food articles.Take a balanced diet.









Execive intake of green leafy vegetables which are rich sources of calcium and many otherminerals and salt is not advisable,Cabbage must be avoided as much as possible.Even cucumber should not be taken too much.Once in 10-15 days is ok.

Ask pateint to take excessive fluids in his diet,barley water is a very good medicine.

-Following a sedentary life style is also a cause for the urinary calculi

-The risk increases in those who comsume lots of legumes and pulses and also those who take it very often.

The juice extracted from the stem of banana plant is the best medicine.It crushed the stones and removes it out from the tract and eliminates it out from the body.The reason is its rich in fibers and has got a medicinal property to crush the stones.
The stem of banana plant taken in any form is very helpful in this case..Even the juice from the roots of banana plant is beneficial
- consuming banana daily also acts as a preventive measure.

-Even the atmospheric conditiond contribute to the formation of stones.Eg- living in tropical regions,i.e-where the temperature is very high there the concentration of uric acid increases and exessive sweat leads to reduction of water levels in the body.If the person does'nt take enough water it will leads to stones formation in the urinary tract.

-People working in mines are much prone to such problems.

-People working in office with AC will naturally tend to sweat less and inturn lead to reduced intake of water which also leads to this problem again.

-Exessive intake of spicy food and sodium rich food is also a cause for this
